This Friday many of our students watched the play “Rob and The Hoodies” by the Vienna´s English Theatre Group. The play is a modern story about Robin Hood. It takes place in today’s Nottingham. Rob Loxby, a schoolboy, is bullied by a gang called “the Hoodies.”
Rob also wrote a play about Robin Hood for a school performance and so our students learned a lot about this famous English folk hero. It was great that some of the students even got on stage and acted as Robin Hood’s friends, the „Merry Men.“ The play tells us about bullying and how people should stand together. If the weak stand up against the strong and you´ve got good friends around you, you can solve nearly every problem. The four young actors did a great job. Everyone enjoyed the show!
